About Troop 404

History of
troop 404

Who we are

Scouts BSA Troop 404 was initially formed and chartered in April, 2004 (hence the number “404”) by a small group of families. This family-oriented troop of eight has now grown into a unit with over 40 boys across all Scout ranks. Our registered leaders have many years of Scouting experience to assist Scouts in camping, hiking, rank advancement, merit badge work, and community service projects.

Troop 404 serves boys in northern Colorado Springs as part of the Jamboree District and Pikes Peak Council.  Scouts attend a variety of schools or are homeschooled across the area.  A dedicated cadre of parents and community volunteers serve on the Troop Committee and as Assistant Scoutmasters.  Our Scoutmaster has decades of experience with the program.
Troop 404 is led by our Scouts and we seek adventures. We plan regular trips to:
  • Sea Base in Florida
  • Northern Tier in Minnesota
  • Philmont in New Mexico
  • Summer Camps in Yellowstone and South Dakota

If you enjoy travelling, camping, leadership, and service we look forward to meeting you soon!
